I got up early (1 am in Oakland, California!) to participate in this year’s Association for Learning Technology Winter Online Conference.  I could only access one of the day’s Blackboard webinars, confirming what I’ve heard about Blackboard, but got to participate in a tweet chat. I was recently in Sacramento, California, at the annual meeting of the California Sociological Association. Two years ago I attended the meeting in Oakland, where I live.
