Sun K. is a kid who got (somewhat) lucky that their parent made an amazing Dad joke that granted them a radical username for life. While being a student of Writing Studies in Kean University's master's program and maintaining a job keeps them pretty busy, they still have plenty of time for interests and hobbies like running, napping, listening to music and podcasts, tabletop gaming, making memes, bothering their best friend, and so much more that will be shaping these blog posts! Keep up with them on Twitter @SunKScribbles.

Look Around, But Not At Me, Please!

I remember the first Zoom meeting I ever went on, nearly a year ago to today. I was 20, for once in my life my skin was clear, I had finally gotten my parents out of my room, and I was so excited. This felt like something that only grown-ups were going to be doing for the (at the time) foreseeable future. For once, I was in the cool kids club! But then, life happened. Into the Void

The highest point of this week for me was watching the New Jersey Devils, the best hockey team in the Metro bubble, finally pull their roster off of COVID-protocol and beat the Rangers spectacularly on their first night back! All […]

If You’re Stressed, It’s Intentionally Equitable Hospitality We Suggest!

So, let’s put on “Be Our Guest,” set a smile on our faces, and journey into the article and some of the finer points that are not only concerning, but something that needs to be tackled […]

Just Call Me Love-A-Lot!

You know, sometimes I really wonder exactly how I got to this point in my life, and the more I contemplate the answer, the more I realize that only potential reason is consistently true; I’m not just myself, but a synthesis of the best parts of the folks in my life, and the reason I got to absorb some of their best traits is because of a mutual care. (And in the case of Jamie, it’s because she’s the absolute […]

POV: You’re ready, Player One

Today, I caught myself thinking about how most people spend their lives in a similar fashion to a washing machine’s rinse-circle-and-repeat cycle. I’m not sure about everyone else reading this, but I’m pretty lazy when it comes to my laundry day habits; I make sure everything I wear (solid colored sweatshirts, solid colored and plain white t-shirts, and jeans) are a wash-cold, tumble dry low sort of thing, and I neer separate my colors and whites. (So far, I’ve been […]
