Dear Arganee Friend,

Dear Avi,Although you claim not to know me very well, you know me more than I know myself. Thank you for believing in me this semester. As I once told you, I used to be an A student. I completed my work before due dates, and I never missed an assignment. Now I feel as though I am lucky to turn anything in at all. Throughout the past five years of college I started to see what it really means […]

I’m me, but who is she? I don’t even know what week it is.

Hi guys.So I don't know if we are still posting to our regular blogs as well but here I go on another post about how I am confused and feel like I'm falling behind...I created an avatar in last weeks class which I thoroughly enjoyed. This other part of ourselves is a confusing process and I hope I'm not the only one who feels this way! I had trouble posting to one twitter account and check that daily... Now we […]

A Promise to get back on track.

I feel like I have been MIA and it has been regrettable, but necessary. Between getting sick and then not having class I feel like I have been struggling again this semester, sort of like I was last semester. I have always been an A student and these past two semesters I have felt as though maybe I should have taken a break. I did not however and I am trudging through a swamp that is waist high and all […]

But really? Where do people find time?!

Chaos has completely controlled my life for a little over a year now. Previous to that I swear I had some type of control...I swear. I'm on the move constantly and whether it's going to work, or school, or another Doctor's appointment, I feel as if I can never catch my breath. Even on my days off I'm tasked with cleaning the house I've neglected all week. Where do people find a day to do the things they actually want […]

Silence is abnormal and I’m not a fan..

Noise. Have you ever turned everything off and just sat in pure silence for awhile? This past week, in class and on my own, I took the time to just sit in almost absolute silence. Even then, there are noises that take up the space I live in. A distant hum of some electronic device, or a dog barking in the distance...he whir of the lawnmower next door. Sound is everywhere. This past week it's as if sound had annoyed […]

♪♪♪♪Hi HO, HI HO, IT’S OFF TO WORK I GO♪♪♪♪

This week has been a repeat cycle of me sleeping, waking up to eat, and then going to work. I'm really trying to make up for the time off I had when I was sick. I'm overworked, and over tired I hope this post does not fall short...Last weeks class was super fun as we had the chance to look around for magical items on campus. Our group went to find some magical food in the school store, and I […]

A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words, But A Story Does Not Need To Be.

Picture prompts were always the worst in school. You had to stare at a picture of some creepy clown or an abandoned car and then write a five paragraph story...I used this opportunity of a five card story however to redefine what a story is to me. Stories should not have to have length in order to be a story...There should not be a length requirement!! What if my story had one word and all of the pictures there defined […]

The Avatar is the master, I the trainee. Can I master all four…or at least play around with alchemy?

The Four Elements: Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. These elements were the heart of medieval alchemy. They held the idea that all matter was composed of these four elements, and when combined, any substance on earth could be formed. This week, we were challenged to find the four elements around us literally, and figuratively and capture them in a picture...  I really enjoyed looking at my peer's work on our blog site. Quaneesha's post was one that I enjoyed reading and […]
